The name of my school is Galileo Galilei. It is very big: it is attended by over 900 students. It has got big classrooms with multimedia boards, a language laboratory with computers, a gym, a volleyball field and a theatre for dance lessons, but there is not a canteen where we can eat. There are a lot of classrooms and different kinds of them: Scientific High School, Languages High School, Human Science High School, Musical HIgh School and Dance High School.

MY FAMILY
In my family there are four people: my father, my mother, my sister and me.
My father's name is Claudio. He is tall, his eyes are green and his hair is curly and brown. He is a teacher and he works in Maddaloni.
My mother's name is Marilena. She is thin, her eyes are green and her hair is dark blond. She is a teacher in the primary school in Castel Volturno.
My sister's name is Ilenia. She is enough tall and thin, her eyes are green and her hair is long and brown. She studies psychology in Chieti, but she lives in Pescara.

ORIGINS OF MY NAME
The name originates in the Latin form and Sabine Claudius, meaning 'lame'. Claudia is celebrated on twentieth in honor of St. Claudia, the holy martyr with Euphrasia, Juliana, Theodosia to Amiso in Paphlagonia in the fourth century. Claudio instead is celebrated February 18 in honor of Claudius, a martyr in Ostia, together with his brother Max and Asterius, during the reign Diocletian.

INTRODUCING MYSELF
My name is Claudia and my surname is C. I am 14 years old. I was born on April, 11th 2000, in Sessa Aurunca, but I live in Mondragone. I am thin and tall. My hair is long, curly and blonde, my eyes are light-blue or green.
I am enough social, because I strike up a friendship easily; I'm also tidy and precise, but I am very stubborn.
I like swimming, above all in the swimming pool, reading novels for teenagers, watching tv, listening to music and drawing. My favourite singer is Emma; I always listen her. My favourite Emma's song is "La mia città".
I attend the first year of secondary school, where I will study English, French and Spanish. I like this school because I love foreign languages.
